Dog Blog A Day for National Pet Month – The Lamb Inn, Sandford
Question of the day (QotD) – When planning a dog walk do you include a stop at a café or pub?
Now some might say I am being biased here with my next dog related business that I bring to you for my Dog Blog A Day series for National Pet Month. However, biased or not, Sandford (my village) has so many footpaths and circular walks, ranging in length from just one mile to as far as you like and in the centre of all this, (maybe your start or finish point) is The Lamb Inn, an award winning dog friendly, gastropubwith boutique accommodation, yes, your dog can stay too. When I say their award winning list is endless, it really is, but the one that might appeal to your four legged companion is being rated in the top 50 Prettiest UK Pub Garden in April 2021 by the Daily Telegraph. I can’t think of a better day then a country walk with my woofer followed by a cooling drink (that might just be alcoholic) or better still stay a little longer and enjoy a meal. There are so many walks in the local area, it would keep you and your woofer busy for days so why not stay over too?
