Dog Blog A Day for National Pet Month – Just Whippets Rescue
Question of the day (QotD) – Have you rehomed a dog, tell me more about them?
Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing a rescue sighthound, he was a mix of Greyhound and Pharaoh Hound, he was adopted 9 years ago and is encapsulated in love and care. These stories lift my heart and it is such an honour to photograph such a special dog.
Rescues have had a very tough year, especially the small ones, I hunted out a small one, based here in Exeter to tell you all about. It is ‘Just Whippets Rescue’, Julie their founder was kind enough to take some time out of her day to tell me more.

It would always be a whippet, as they are loving and loyal and they have the slender body I have always wanted.

Collecting George, my first whippet, just outside Reading and my love affair with the whippet started since 1983.
