Dog Blog A Day for National Pet Month – Fiona Crawford Photography - Outdoor Studio
Question of the day (QotD) – How many photographs of your pets do you have on the windowsills and walls of your home?
So it is still all about me. My Dog Blog of the Day for National Pet Month. Today I am going to tell you all about my studio sessions at my outdoor studio in Sandford, Devon.

My outdoor studio sessions are at an old barn, well lit and airy so your dog will feel safe and secure but not hemmed in. It is in a secure yard so your dog can be off the lead or on if you prefer. It is easier sometimes with them on their lead just to help them stay in the right spot.
Your dog does not need to be an obedience champion, as long as they can stand or sit we are good to go, yes, honestly no more than that! I can get a lovely selection of photographs for you. There are no time restraints as I don’t want any pressure on your dog or you, but I usually say allow 30 mins. Before we start your dog can have a run in my secure area, sniff around, get their bearings, go to the toilet, have a drink, all before we start. That way we get the best from them and you have a beautiful set of styled photographs for an album, your walls or a wooden photo box.
A week after the shoot we get together to go through the photographs and pick your favourites, I guide you through the whole process giving you the help you need to choose the best photographs and how to display them in your home. No pushy sales at all, if you know me you know that is not my style at all.
