Advance warning…brace yourself…my social feed is about to get taken over by all things puppy dog related.
What?
Over the month of April you will be going to see so many cute dog photos your brain will explode. That is right, every weekday for a whole month! No apologies as dogs are just so cute. I might pop the odd horse photo in once a week so you don’t go cold turkey on me. No turkey photo’s though but maybe a chicken!
Starting on 1st April, I will be doing my bit for ‘National Pet Month’. This initiative runs from 1st April to 3rd May 2021. It is all about raising awareness and promoting responsible pet ownership and improving the welfare of our pets. Put together by NOAH (National Office Of Animal Health) and PFMA (Pet Food Manufacturers’ Association). To find out more about National Pet Month (NPM) and what you can do to help click here.
I love the idea of NPM, I am so grateful for all my pets have done for me over the last 12 months.
So with this in mind and all that the past year has thrown at us, I am planning on looking forward and doing something positive for my local community. I want to support National Pet Month this year through raising awareness and promoting local businesses, charities and rescues primarily with a focus on dogs.
I will write a small blog everyday (Mon - Fri) on my website and share it through my social media channels. Each day will be about a different business, charity or rescue.
Where do you come in? Please like, share and visit the social feeds of all these wonderful people. Tell your friends when you see a post relevant to them. Donate to one of the charities, they have all had an exceptionally tough year.
But most of all I hope you enjoy reading my musings and get some entertainment from the fun facts I have gleaned for you along the way.
If you know of a dog related business, charity or rescue in the South West who might be interested in being part of this, let me know I would love to hear their story and share it with you all. Contact me here
